KATE MORRISON | Partner
Kate has a strong and successful track record in innovation. She’s advised start-up, small and large firms, as well as public policy agencies, and has managed mission-critical projects for clients including IBM, Bank of New York, Philips and PwC in Europe and Australia. She has been actively involved in consulting for fifteen years and has experience in technology and management consulting. She’s worked across various sectors including financial services, food, energy, manufacturing, healthcare, software, electronics, tourism, engineering and government.
Kate holds a first class Honours Degree in Economics and subsequently received two post-graduate scholarships to engage in research, including one from the Australian Centre for Complex Systems. She is published in several academic journals and has served as co-editor of the journal Innovation: Management, Policy and Practice. She was the primary researcher and analyst for two major Queensland Government reports on industry and innovation. Kate has also represented Australia at the APEC Women’s Entrepreneurship Summit (2010) hosted by the United States Government in Japan.

Tim is a long-time innovation authority, advisor and advocate. His blog The Discipline of Innovation is read by more than 2500 people a day, he boasts a Twitter following of 12,000 and he has made the top ten of the Top 40 Innovation Bloggers on multiple occasions. Tim is Associate Professor in Innovation Management at the University of Queensland Business School (UQBS) and Academic Advisor for the Global Consulting Practicum program, which UQBS facilitates in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School).
Tim is committed to translating his research and teaching into practice, so he actively engages with industry. He is in high demand as a consultant, and has completed work for a range of organisations including Merck, Xerox Palo Alto Research Center, Lorna Jane, BlueSteel, Laing O’Rourke, GroundProbe, Brisbane City Council, Ergon Energy Corporation, Queensland Health, GHD Engineering, Fairfax Digital, Rio Tinto and Hatch Engineering. JACQUI WALTERS | Partner
Jacqui is a management consultant who has held senior roles with advisory firms in Australia and internationally. She has designed and implemented a diverse range of programs for public and private sector clients including. Lego, Cathay Pacific, Indian Railways, Carlsberg Tetley, Royal Bank of Scotland, JP Morgan, Compaq, Hewlett Packard and Local, State and Federal Government organisations. Jacqui’s strengths lie in assisting leadership teams to break down and solve complex business challenges and engage their teams in implementing those solutions. She now works with clients to build innovation capability and align that capability to the strategic priorities and performance of the organisation.
Jacqui’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Accounting and Finance, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Trustee of Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA). Jacqui held a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) qualification for 12 years. She is also an Advisory Board Member with a social enterprise and an Independent Board Member of Building Queensland.

Jaclyn brings energy, creativity and initiative to the Era team. Innovation fuels growth through disruption and Jaclyn specialises in creating order among the chaos. She has 15 years’ experience in strategic communication and engagement across diverse sectors including; retail, resources, construction, property and professional services.
Jaclyn believes that innovation is key to contributing to competitive strength and growth but more excitingly, it’s now playing a big part in creating positive social change. She considers her role to educate, inspire and empower clients to exploit their innovation capability in a way that delivers value beyond profit. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Professional Writing and Communication) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Jaclyn has been recognised on the Dean's Academic Merit List and was awarded the MBA Excellence Award: Service to the Community.

Scott has nine years experience in production and quality assurance specialising in the oil & gas and pharmaceutical sectors. Having worked in large organisations, Scott understands the challenges they face and sees innovation as a critical element in creating sustainable, long-term business success.
Scott’s well versed in facilitating change and is passionate about implementing new ideas to create value. He believes an innovative culture empowers people to think differently, to constantly improve and create viable options for new products, services and business models. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Microbiology, Drug Design and Development), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and was included on the Dean’s High Achievement Commendation list.
